Since 1993 the Island Property Management team has provided for the care of hundreds of properties on behalf of local, national, and international residential property investors .

These are some of the highlights of our service.

Rent collection
We collect monthly rent from tenants on your behalf.

Disbursement of rent
We will make monthly deposits into a bank account, issue cheques or disburse funds as you instruct.

Maintenance & Repairs
We will be responsible for maintaining the property. Any repairs over $500.00 will be performed after obtaining several quotes and the lowest quote will be used * - cost to be deducted from rent collected. We will inspect all work to ensure that it is complete and up to our standards.

Payment of Bills
Mortgages, insurance, water taxes, etc. will be paid from the rents collected if you desire.

Property Inspections
Periodic inspections will be carried out to ensure that your property is being properly cared for.

Monthly Statements
Statements will be issued to every owner showing monthly transactions.

Removal of Tenants
If necessary, we will make arrangements to evict a tenant from the property.

Collection of Back Rent
If rents are owing when we assume management, we will make an effort to recover them. **

The Typical Month
All rents are made due on the first of the month and made payable to island property Management. Rents are placed in our trust account and on the 15th any outstanding bills are paid, management fees are deducted, and the remainder is sent to the owner as remittance. Statements showing revenue and expenses are generated once the month has closed and forwarded to the owners shortly after with copies of any bills.
